    This item is to discuss and possibly approve $22.000 in funding from Special Allocations (Account # 41-58000) for the DASG Bike Program (Account # 41-55116) to purchase new more durable canopies to replace the ones that were in the Bike Corral to protect the DASG Bikes. The previous two sets of less durable canopies were destroyed by heavy storms..

    FACCC Advocacy and Policy Conference

    This item is to discuss and possibly approve a budget transfer from the FACCC Advocacy and Policy Conference Account (Account #: 46-56404, Object Code: 5510) to FA PAC Internship Program (Account #: 46-56405, Object Code: 2310) in the amount of $4,600.

    In addition, transfer funding from the FACCC Advocacy and Policy Conference account (Account #: 46-56404, Object Code: 5510) to the FA PAC Internship Program (Account #: 46-56405, Object Code: 3200) in the amount of $70.00. 

    FA-PAC will not be attending the FACCC Advocacy and Policy Conference this year (2025-2026). Funding would be used to pay student interns in the FA PAC Internship Program. Current allocation is insufficient to cover the estimated cost of interns.

    • Dennis: There will be a budget request (funding request) replacement for canopies for the bike corral (durable and weather resistant). Have Finance code discussion next week. 
    • Maritza: Be mindful of volume; try to project for secretary who is online and Maritza is hard of hearing.

    • Discord is where all announcements will be posted including interview applications. 
    • No deliberation or decision-making of agenda items will be discussed in Discord, however, announcements will be made so students and staff can stay in the loop.

    • All students went over the weighting for the rubric including the following suggestions: 
      • Program Description = 5%
      • Impact = 20%
      • DEI = 10%
      • Environmental Sustainability = 10%
      • Promo = 7.5%
      • Online Services = 5%
      • Active Student Involvement = 15%
      • Reflection = 10%

    • Interns can now apply for interviews; make sure to review the website, undertand the funding sources and accounts associated with DASG to prepare.
