Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing: CAD Applications
Course Description
This course will focus on geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, utilizing ASME Y14.5M-2009 standards as they apply to engineering and manufacturing drawings. CAD drawings will be completed from solid models using multiple datums, symbols, feature control frames, and other GD&T specifications.

DMT-052.-63Z: Online Course. Students must have access to a Windows computer with an appropriate current release of CAD software, that will be made available for download free of charge to enrolled students, the Web and an individual email address. *Before taking DMT 52, you should have a very firm grasp of how to use a CAD systems to complete required course work. Understanding of how to make basic CAD drawings is critical. Consider taking a DMT-100 CAD Lab class for access to the lab. Exclusively using a tablet or phone may prevent you from successfully completing a course.
