Automotive Sales, Finance, and Leasing
Course Description
This course is designed to familiarize the student with the basic economic principles that exist when a vehicle or other equipment is purchased or leased, viewed from a management perspective. Principals and problems are centered around the cost of capital, capital budgeting, and investment analysis. Also discussed are repayment schedules including amortized loans, refinancing, and variable rate loans.

ATMG -0607.-65Z: Fully ONLINE. This course is an upper division course and is restricted only to students who have been admitted to the Automotive Technology Management Baccalaureate Degree program. Students of this program must meet the minimum requirements and complete a supplementary application found at deanza.edu/autotech/management. This is an online class that does not have scheduled meetings. Students can log in anytime to do the required weekly course work. Students must have access to a computer, the internet and an individual email address. We recommend a laptop or desktop computer to successfully complete the course; a tablet or phone may not be adequate for all assignments and tests.
